Jacareto Installation Instructions

1. Be sure to have a Java virtual machine installed on your system.
2. Download the latest version of Jacareto from the Project Page on SourceForge.net.
3. If you are using Windows and you have downloaded the exe file, just click on this file to install Jacareto.
4. If you have downloaded the zip file, you have to do three things:
   1. Unzip the file (for example, to C:\Jacareto).
   2. Set the environment variable JACARETO_HOME to this directory.
   3. Add the bin directory in the JACARETO_HOME path to your PATH variable.

Jacareto has only been tested on Windows system yet. If you want to use it in Unix/Linux systems, you will be the first one, and you have the opportunity to participate in the Jacareto open source project by making small changes to Jacareto so that it works on Unix/Linux. :-)
